Some urban analysis and intervention posters.
Our Urban design brief required us to analysis our Studiowork site with context as well as to create an urban intervention for the proposed site. It was an interesting and fun exercise as I got to experience the urban context and allowed us to be more involved and in-tune for our building proposals.
Thanks to Sir Michael gates for uploading this blog
The public lecture was well attended at the South Campus auditorium the other night with Vdmma architects showcasing good work. It was a very interesting and insightful lecture. Not too bad with a glass of wine

Urban Design presentation done and dusted... My topic was New Urbansim, this is focused on the development of pedestrianized cities and how the vehicle has segregated our communities. I would welcome new urbanism in our local cities as it is a sustainable and a much more exciting way of living. Look it up, you wont be disappointed. #lessdrivingmorewalking #newurbanism
